This exciting 2-day Komodo adventure begins with a scenic boat journey from Labuan Bajo to several stunning islands within Komodo National Park. On the first day, you will explore Kelor Island with its panoramic hilltop views, snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of Manjarite Island, and witness the magical sunset at Kalong Island as thousands of flying foxes emerge from the mangrove forest. The second day starts with a breathtaking sunrise hike on Padar Island, followed by relaxing and snorkeling at the famous Pink Beach. The adventure continues with a guided walk on Komodo Island to see the legendary Komodo dragons in their natural habitat. After lunch, you will visit the beautiful sandbank of Taka Makassar and snorkel at Manta Point for a chance to swim alongside majestic manta rays before returning to Labuan Bajo in the late afternoon.
Itinerary
Day 1 โ Kelor Island, Manjarite Island & Kalong Island
Early in the morning, our driver and English-speaking guide will pick you up from your hotel or Komodo Airport in Labuan Bajo (for morning arrivals). After gathering at Labuan Bajo Harbor, you will board the boat and receive a safety briefing from the crew.
The journey begins with a visit to Kelor Island, where you can hike to the hilltop for panoramic views, swim, or snorkel in clear waters. Continue to Manjarite Island, a beautiful snorkeling spot known for its vibrant coral reefs and marine life. Lunch will be served on board.
In the late afternoon, sail to Kalong Island to witness thousands of flying foxes (fruit bats) emerging from the mangrove forest at sunsetโa truly unforgettable natural experience. Dinner will be served on the boat, and you will spend the night on board while sailing toward Padar Island.
Day 2 โ Padar Island, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Taka Makassar & Manta Point
Early in the morning, arrive at Padar Island for a guided sunrise hike. From the top, enjoy breathtaking views of the islandโs iconic three-colored bays.
After descending, continue to Pink Beach, where you can relax, swim, or snorkel in crystal-clear waters. Next, visit Komodo Island (Loh Liang) and explore the island with an official park ranger to observe Komodo dragons in their natural habitat.
Lunch will be served on board before heading to Taka Makassar, a stunning sandbank perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and photography. The final highlight is Manta Point, where you may have the chance to snorkel with majestic manta rays.
In the late afternoon, sail back to Labuan Bajo and transfer to your hotel.
